Vilma Participated in Vive Ligero Panel Discussion

Vilma Andari participated in the Vive Ligero (Live Light) panel discussion on the Media Campaign as one of three panelists.
Hosted by the Center for Latino Policy Research by the University of California, Berkeley and the Inter–University Program for Latino Research by the University of Notre Dame, this panel discussion focused on the issues and challenges that Latinos face to overcome the obesity epidemic.
Vive Ligero states: “…in coordination with existing efforts of the US Department of Health and Human Services, it is Vive Ligero’s mission to increase Latinos’ knowledge and awareness of the adverse health effects of excess weight and obesity and of the importance of healthy eating habits and exercise.”
